Mix Mix Mix.
One little mischevious devil here.
...and a funky mix.
Mix is a VOLTAGE-CONTROLLED 8-channel mixer.
It is made using 8 CEM3379 chips by Curtis Electro-Music!

There are:
Audio inputs = 8 of them!
Voltage-Controlled PAN = 8 of them!
Voltage-Controlled AMP = 8 of them!
Voltage-Controlled LOW PASS FILTER = 8 of them!
Voltage-Controlled Resonance = 8 of them!
Audio Outputs = Stereo or L = mono. This can be handy.
and a Master Volume knob. "Main Gain". There are 32 Control Knobs!
They are labelled as "Attenuations", but are in fact, Control Knobs.
There are also 16 extra unused jacks on the back. They were not used in this design, but you could use them for your own mods if you like.

The Filters are 4-pole 24dB and can self-oscillate. There are just so many possibilities here.
Below are some mp3 demos. An example of what is happening in some of these sounds are:
1. Plug an LFO into a Frequency Input for an auto-wah. 2. Plug an LFO into a Pan Input for an auto-pan. 3. Plug an LFO into a Volume Input for a vibrato. (I used an LFO output from some MoogerFooger pedals for the DEMO.)
enjoy some demos!

Here are some more set up examples for the Mix Machine:
1. Plug a guitar into an Audio Input. (It's best through a Distortion or some pedal with some gain since there are no pre-amps in this mixer.)
2. Plug an expression pedal into the Frequency Input and you can sweep a filter with your foot like a wah pedal or MoogerFooger filter.

1.Plug a Roland TR-606 or TR-707 audio output to a channel input on the Mix Machine and filter the sound.
2.Plug a cable from a trigger out on the drum machine to Volume Input Jack on the Mix Machine and turn the Resonance knob up until you hear a rhythmic tone.
3.Turn the Frequency knob to hear different notes.
4.Turn the resonance knob down and plug your distorted guitar into this channel's audio input for choppy rhythmic vibrato synced to your drum machine.

Pictured above are the Main Output jacks. The left is L (or mono), and the Middle jack is Right. The third is unused.

1.Turn up all the Volume knobs!
2.Turn up the Resonance knobs!
3.Hear the tones drone!
