At our customer's request, we had the pleasure of installing Envelope Generators on the Mix Machine.
Of course, 8 of them.

We put in 8 Trigger Inputs, 8 Envelope Outputs, 8 Trigger/Gate mode switches, 8 Manual Trigger arcade buttons on the left side. On the right side, 8 Attack knobs, 8 Release Knobs, 8 Output knobs, and 8 switches to put your envelopes in Loop mode.
We patched the envelopes to the Frequency and/or Volume knobs most of the time we were testing, and it sounded like an instrument we have not yet made before.. With one box like this, you can essentially create many kinds of sound environments. With some envelopes on Panning control, some looping on Frequency control, and some looping on Volume control at slow attack times, (or something along those lines), it's a sensory experience much like the sonic version of an overwhelming L.A. six-lane highway, only less traumatizing and a lot more interesting.
Drum machine patching is always fun, we had some triggering from the TR-606 and the audio output of it going into the audio input on the Mix Machine, so it was all synced together. Now that you know what we can do at your request, don't be afraid to ask for special additions!
We hope that our customer will have fun with it too.
