the NEW GAME
We continue to adapt new models of the Game synth, and this New Game has a SEQUENCER plus a SUB OSCILLATOR.
Features roll:
2 voltage controlled oscillators (VCO), one with saw/square option
1 Sub Oscillator that switches between -1 octave and -2 octaves. You get a very special bass.
1 Voltage controlled Filter (VCF) that self oscillates and tuned to 1V/octave!
1 Attack-Release Envelope Generator
1 Low frequency oscillator (LFO)
1 MIXER
1 White Noise Generator
1 Eight-Step SEQUENCER (more info below)
1 Voltage controlled Amplifier (VCA)
Headphone Output and lots of input/output jacks. (pictured)
Here is a playlist of mp3 demos! Have fun and enjoy the variety.
About the Sequencer: The switches are three-position switches, they switch from (top)Gate Mode, (middle) Off, (bottom)Trigger Mode. The gate output is hardwired to the Envelope Generator, so when you have the switches on Gate Mode, it will hold that note to go into the next note. Very cool effect to get your rhythms! Switches on the oscillators switch on/off the sequencer CV, and there is also a jack for CV output and Gate output.
The CLOCK is on board and the speed is controlled by the speed knob on the lower right, and the switch you see on the far right is the on/off switch for the sequencer. If you have an external drum machine or clock source plugged into the CLOCK IN jack, it will disconnect the on-board clock and you control the speed of the sequence on the external machine you are using.
You can play this sequencer on foward or reverse modes. There is a Portamento that will glide your notes funky. There is also an External Reset jack so that you can sync to your drum machine, and there is a manual reset arcade button.
Now, Go Play!

About the Filter: The filter is scaled 1V/Octave and it will self-oscillate when turned up. The UNMARKED SWITCH on the far right will switch on/off the CV input (if you have a CV keyboard plugged into the CV INPUT, that is.) So you can play a nice sine wave along with the 2 VCOs.
More on INTERFACE: Plugging in a CV input to CV INPUT 1 will send that signal to both VCO 1 and VCO 2. The LINK Switch will become useful if you have one CV signal controlling both VCO1 and VCO2, since it will "link" their tuning knobs. So tuning the VCO1 knob will also tune VCO2 with the LINK switch in the on position. If you plug something into only the CV 2 input, it will just go to VCO 2.
